Nir Tsfaty is a Melbourne-based singer-songwriter and composer whose work moves between contemporary songwriting, string arrangements and screen composition.

His music has been performed at the National Gallery of Victoria, Melbourne Recital Centre, and InDNegev Festival, and has been developed through collaborations with his bands Noria and Bell Always, Invictus Quartet, Melbourne Strings, among other leading performers. His concert series About Whales is currently being developed into an album and will mark Tsfaty’s fifth studio release.
 

Alongside his artist work, Tsfaty composes for film and screen. His score for short film Scorpion Ascent was nominated for Best Music for a Short Film at the 2023 APRA Screen Music Awards. His screen work also includes projects for ABC, Isuzu, Respect Victoria and independent film and theatre productions.

His latest releases include Under The Sun and The Sun in the Sand.
